I have to say I have never been disappointed by a C.W. Farnsworth novel and we can go ahead and add this one to the list. I feel like she always fleshes out her characters and backstories so well. She doesn’t give them a stale one-dimensional personality and when there is specific things going on with characters we always get why later on. I truly appreciate that in her writing style. Piper and Kyle are just two cuties. Our country king and his city girl. I especially love our starting prologue that eventually comes back around later in the novel and I think it is adorable. While in actual reality the characters relationship goes relatively fast, we get the backstory of how they got there and the time they spend together seems way longer than it actually is. Our characters are given space to grow independently, but also with each other. I love seeing this healthy dynamic. Overall, if you are a small town romance book lover, I think that you will really enjoy this one.
