The Three-Body Problem by Cixin Liu
3.0

Official rating - 3.5/5

Since I read the GR blurb - I found myself trying to put the puzzle pieces together while I was reading it, which made the overall experience of reading it engaging for me... However, that also meant that when the involvement of the extraterrestrial intelligence was 'revealed', it had been something I'd already thought of which made it overall less dramatic than it could have been. Overall thought-provoking themes which makes it something I can discuss with people who have both read and not-read the book.

Also I think I would have had a much more difficult time getting through it if I hadn't used the audiobook for about 50% of it - lots of sciency speak.
