as far as rom-coms go, i think i'd classify this one as more premium. has decent plot and developed characters who have separate lives outside of each other. older mcs who are not in their early 20s, which is a plus. i had a lot more fun when i just imagined this as like a hallmark movie. yes there are plot conveniences. but i can excuse that if i don't take it that seriously and remember that it is Fiction. i casted emma stone and ryan gosling as the Lovers since she's a redhead and he has a beard.
