when i read trc originally, this was the least memorable of the 4 books for me, and im not sure why? i somehow retained exactly 0% of this on my first read through

i said something similar in my review of the raven boys, but im going to say it again: not a lot really happens in this book! didnt realize that was a staple of the series but again, i dont really mind it. the characters and their relationships are fun, though sometimes blue and gansey leave a little to be desired. seperatly they interest me, together im just like. myeh?

and not to immediately contradict myself, but? Very Important things happen but a lot of the book is just the gangsey being pals and friends and exporling and shit which again IS 100% FINE. this may be the only series for me that can get away with 80% character interactions/20% plot. it doesnt drag and was still enjoyable to read

also im glad adam can be an evil little guy somtimes lol it brings me joy
