The Girl in 6E by A.R. Torre

4.0

This was a new author for me, and I was... unsure about this at the beginning.

It's definitely hard to rate/describe because I'm still "digesting" it, but I did enjoy it overall. There are definitely some tropes that aren't for the faint of heart, so check those before reading. But I actually like the way the author weaves in the mental health aspect, and I think she/he does a pretty good job.

Deanna/Jessica is our FMC and she has a lot of issues... like a TON. She hasn't left her apartment in 3 years, and NOT because she has agoraphobia. She gets all of her things delivered to her house and doesn't open the door until the delivery driver leaves. She's also a pretty famous cam-girl, and that leads to some of the angst of this story, but not quite what you think at the start.

Jeremy is her UPS (or some fictitious version) driver and has become enamored with her for some reason.

I'll say a solid 4 here and I'll be reading the rest of this season for sure.
