We Own Tonight by Corinne Michaels

4.0

I listened to the audiobook and the narrators (Andi Arndt and Zachary Webber) are stellar as usual.

Story was fun and I had some laugh out loud moments for sure. Of course it was a little on the unbelievable side, but that’s ok. Heather hooks up with Eli who is her childhood boy crush from a pop band one night after a concert. It was supposed to be one night, but Eli falls first, fast and hard. There were some heavy topics, mostly with Heather’s sister terminally ill and declining. I loved the scene where Eli shows his soft side and includes her sister. I also liked the female character was career focused (albeit too much of her identity perhaps).
