I really tried not to rush through reading this very bingeable novel, because every time I do that with a Jasmine Guillory, I find myself wishing that I had been more patient because I want to hang out with the two main characters for longer. Olivia and Max are no exception and watching them navigate—and eat—their way into love with each other was so beautiful. I also love how the characters from her earlier novels populate and appear throughout this series, yet you could also read them as stand alone if you wanted to. It’s so thoughtfully done and really a perfect read for this moment.
