This is a lovable story. It can feel long but you constantly want to know what’s next. A mix of The Night Circus, Harry Potter, the Ten Thousand Doors of January, and more. The audio version is well-narrated. A little too much torture description for me on the dark magic but overall not bad. It’s creative and a fun escape!
