Thank you Kat King for the opportunity to read this ARC!

If you're the type of girl who loves and watches slasher-esque horror movies but also wonders what it'd be like if the final girl gave into her darker side and fell in love with the killer, THEN THIS STORY IS FOR YOU!!!

This story premise intrigued me from the start and I enjoyed the whole ride as I read everything unfold!

I loved the dual pov between Storm and Micah!! Getting in their heads added to the thrill of the cat and mouse chase!

I felt that Storm's arc was written believably well as a girl who was overlooked growing up with her family dynamic, who later grew up and embraced her ambitions with her career, then as someone who ultimately submitted to her core self and inner dark desires. She was written with the perfect balance of reluctant prey turned precious submissive!

Micah's whole personality was the perfect mix of dark and forbidden with possessive and dangerous! He gave me major sinister Billy Russo vibes from Punisher!

The whole story was thrilling to read and the ending left me wanting to see what's next for Storm and Micah!!
