An Analysis of Sandra M. Gilbert and Susan Gubar's the Madwoman in the Attic: The Woman Writer and the Nineteenth-Century Literary Imagination by Rebecca Pohl
3.0
This little book (under 100 pages) from 1979 is a study of feminism in nineteenth-century women’s writing. I heard about it on a podcast and it sounded interesting. We shall see.
Better than I had anticipated. Still just so-so.
