Jaqueline Snowe is so good at writing spicy college romances in a way that feels both young and free yet incredibly mature. I always have fun and feel like I can relate to the characters easily. The characters' decisions are at times maybe a little immature but not in a childish way but in a "yes they are 21 so they don't have that much life experience yet they definitely aren't acting childish" if that makes sense?

Anyhow this friends to lovers, friends with benefits, roommates romance was wonderful and I never felt that Preston was a jerk friend just there to get into Jordan's pants. I do think had they never gotten together, he would've stayed her friend and moved on romantically which I find commendable in a character. And Jordan worrying she would lose him as a friend if it didn't work out was completely justified. The feelings both had about their concerns and at times jumping to conclusions made sense in context. I also really loved seeing some past characters as well as some side relationships go through their own trials.

I don't love a spicy college romance UNLESS it is written by Jaqueline Snowe!
