I was very excited about this book. The hype was huge from social media and the website was intriguing.
Overall the book was good, but not up to expectations.
The storytelling, descriptions and world building was amazing, detailed and well thought out. That it a lot of the book and I really appreciated the detail.
The narration was cool and a new way that I hadn't seen before. I'd like to see other books in the style.
The main characters, the twins, were the best part of this book. Very accurate brother dynamic, with banter thrown in here and there. They added structure, a focus and comedy to a intricate world and forever changing plot.
There is a lot to take in and the plot seemed to keep on changing with it mainly being predictable/too easy at times.
Overall a good book, the characters are really cool and I love the world. It was just hard to keep focus on all that was going on and it was predictable.
I am probably still going to read the next one to continue the story as I love the world and characters.
