The characters are mostly annoying and do things that seemingly make no sense. It’s incredibly unhealthy behaviors from both characters. 

It isn’t this books fault but I’m sick of the trope where the mid 20s woman is so super innocent (in modern stories) and the man gets to teach her everything. 

There was at least one sex scene that I’m not entirely sure is plausible from a physical standpoint involving a vibrating egg.
