I’ll read pretty much anything Akwaeke writes. I’m very glad to have read PET prior to this, as the little context we get about Bitter from that novel helped create a richer, stronger character in this one. The ending tied up extremely nicely/neatly, which is always a little too convenient for me, but there certainly were twists at the end that were unanticipated which made for a nice, hooking surprise.
