The Other People by C.J. Tudor
1.0

Each chapter is told by different viewpoints was jarring and it wasn't until page 90 that the flow became smoother.
The author messed up farther and further, which is annoying. The British verbiage was interesting, but it would take me out of the story, because it was inconsistent; why say indicator for the car blinker, but not torch for a flashlight?
page 184 an error in the DI's name. It was supposed to be Maddock, but in one sentence it says Roberts. Who is Roberts?!
The supposed surprises were not surprises, but confirmations and all very dull. The only thing I didn't figure out was the why of the person who went after Gabe and why the car was driving towards his house, which was mention again on page 308 as if the reading hadn't already questioned this? Are people paying attention?
I also gave a lower rating for the political rant of the Sandman.
The paranormal garbage seemed pretty pointless as well. Was the author trying to be like Stephen King?
I also gave it a lower rating for the excessive cussing, using Jesus and Christ as curse words and demeaning Christianity.
I do not recommend this book.
