Did this book need to be 600 fucking pages? Absolutely not. 

Overall it was alright. I liked Scarlett and Asher both, but wasn't crazy about their relationship? TBH the whole

"don't tell Vincent or the world will explode"

thing was so fucking annoying to read. Especially because I felt like Scarlett was so desperate to be mature and good the whole book, but chose to actively be decieving? Idk I just didn't like it. 

I did the "traumas" of both of the characters, although

Asher's self-help trope also sort've annoyed me. "OMG I suddenly figured out what's wrong with me after all these years and it's like so simple because I never realized I had a problem until a page ago???

" Idk. It was addicting, and I have never read a soccer/football sports romance, not sure if I would read another tho, based on this one.
