What can I say about this series that hasn't been said before?
So I will say that Scott Snyder became one of my favorite writers, period. I learned an appreciation for good art and subtle nuances, to respect careful craftmanship of the artist and how to differentiate good art from bad (from Capullo).
I know I learned how to be a better writer, how to choose personal fears and turn them into strengths of exploration. I know I'll miss Snyder on the Batman title, even as he ventures into All-Star Batman so he's not too far away. It was a title I wasn't even considering picking up at the beginning of New 52, back when I was a wee comics babe floundering around looking for comics guidance. The team here turned it into a classic for the ages.
