The Knight by Gene Wolfe
5.0

I see that I never reviewed this. Well since I'm rereading it now, and [author: Gene Wolfe] books are _always_ better the second time around, whoopee!

I've reread it, and it was better the second time through, as expected. I have a better idea of what is going on, but I'm sure I'll want to read it yet again soon. Having said that, this book seems to have a lot less hidden stuff than his New Sun, Long Sun, Short Sun stories. Gene Wolfe is an author that expects his reader to be paying attention, and rarely drops hints twice. This or [book: Pirate Freedom] is a great place to get to know Wolfe.
