Started off super strong. However, as the story progressed it was dragged on and on far longer than it should have been. I feel like this book was trying to meet some sort of quota for page numbers or word count, but there are a lot of unnecessary scenes and details that didn't really offer anything to the plot but made it more of a slow dragged out read, especially towards the end
