Sleeping Beauties by Owen King, Stephen King

Did not finish book. Stopped at 6%.

Unfortunately, I was not able to read past around page 45. There were a lot of characters performing mundane activities and descriptions of the memories they were having in those moments. Nothing at all happened in the entire 40+ pages I read. There was no discernible plot.

I imagine that at some point these characters will become part of an actual story, but I was terribly bored, and the idea of picking this book up again filled me with dread, so as much as I hate to quit reading a book... I just don't want to swim around in limbo waiting on a plot that may or may not materialize in a way I would enjoy.

Because I did not read enough of this book to know if it would have changed my mind later, I don't feel it would be fair to leave a star rating.
