Promises Part 4 by A.E. Via

2.0

This was unexpectedly boring. I found Sway’s scenes with his family and that nurse Sam to be very cringe worthy. The middle part of the story was so boring. I struggled to come back to the story every time I put it away.

The first few chapters were hot as fuck. And seeing the chemistry between these characters, especially in the last book, made it seem like more awesomeness was coming. But it never came. There was too much going that was irrelevant, so many side plots that didn’t make the story.

And omg Brian and his insecurity. It was so damn crippling. Constantly bringing it up and question. It was too much. I like some reality in my fiction, but this part specifically was a bit too much reality for my taste!

And there’s this thing that Lucy Lenox does in her stories that make me cringe. It’s so gross when you put an old female character that constantly talks about sex. What’s the point? I can’t see any situation where that’s warranted or even funny. Every time the nurse did that with sway, it made me want to stop reading the story.
