Very lovely book! IOTBD has always been a favorite of mine from back when I was a kid and I always love to come back to it from time to time when I want a short story I know I’ll love. Katana’s story inspired by the real life of Juana Maria is very captivating and it’s inspiring to read about how she survived and created happy times despite her loneliness. A fun enemies to friends subplot as well!
Graphic: Blood, Murder, Violence, Animal cruelty, and Animal death
