This was a very fascinating book told in mostly two points of view alternating between 1875 and 1987.

This book deals with quite the heavy topics but also topics that are important to talk about and sit with.

I really enjoyed both of the two main characters as well as the mention of letters from a variety of people.

Highly recommend this book.
