The Lion's Mouth by Anne Holt

4.0

I am a fan of Scandinavian writers so was excited to read this. I haven't read any of Anne Holt's books before, and even though this is the fourth in the series, I was able to follow the story without reading the others.

Although this is a Hanne Wilhelmsen novel, Hanne is on leave therefore Billy T is the main character in the book. I didn't like Billy T, especially in the beginning so I struggled with a few chapters early on. Hanne and various other characters then become more involved in the story however, and I enjoyed it more and more. The characters are all well developed.

Overall I really liked this book, and thought the ending was especially great. I will definitely be on the lookout for more of Anne Holt's books.
