The Face on the Milk Carton
by Caroline B. Cooney
A coworker of mine asked me to recommend a few books that I read when I was in high school. I am not sure why, but this one came to mind almost instantaneously. I lent her my book and she promised she'd bring it back after she finished reading it. I decided to read it as well.
Maybe it's a desperate attempt to get somewhere in my reading challenge this year...
I didn't think I would finish it in one day... maybe there is hope for me after all, hahaha.
I'm not sure that I'm interested enough to read the rest of the series. There are, I discovered, 4 more books in this... should I try it... am I curious enough... maybe...?
Initially, I had rated this a 2 star out of 5, because it wasn't that interesting as a teenager (sec. 1, if I recall correctly). As an adult, I think this is a very interesting story.
