No One Round Here Reads Tolstoy by Mark Hodkinson
3.0
Maybe 3.25. I enjoy reading books about books, and this one was pretty good. In a bit I will explain why I didn't rate it higher. Mark Hodkinson has acquired 3,500 physical books, and he goes on to explain how he has ended up with that many, coming from a family and neighborhood in England that was extremely lucky if they had one book in the house.
I enjoyed his journey that included music, films, and journalism (which allowed him to write on the current music scene of the time).
Between you and me, 3,500 books isn't too many in my opinion. I have 5300 files in my Kindle library, and I have read 1500 of them (about 28%).
I didn't rate this book higher, because the author isn't a fan of e-readers (please note, I downloaded his book to my e-reader). The way he described the Kindle he borrowed, made me think it was a tablet rather than an e-reader.
