It has been barely a minute since I finished the book. It's hard for me to summarize what this book is about because contrary to what I believed at the start, this book is about so much. There's the undeniable love for words, their ambiguity and secrets and whatever they might mean to someone in the future, that lead me to buying this book in the first place. But then there was capturing realities and personalities with a few words, there was the knowledge that words were everything but never enough to describe the intensity of anything that happened in this book. War, loss, love, reunion, confusion and time passing. I don't get how it's humanly possible to put all this in just one book and have it make perfect sense. My review won't do it justice. The relevance of one women's work in the history of empowerment was so inspiring to read. I got chills at the very end. Linguistically haunting, chilling as a story. I loved it to bits.
