A mid book. it was alright, a well written mystery but i just didn't find it intriguing and exotic therefore i was not hooked. the story line was okay, but it wasn't interesting like Feida McFadden's other books. i went into the book knowing it wasn't going to be the best so i was not surprised when i finished the book thinking it was just okay. there were no thriller moments or any parts in the book that made me feel shocked or overwhelmed. i think my opinion stayed pretty neutral the whole time. the characters also were not the best. there were not original and to be honest they were pretty boring. i did not get attached to any of them and they bored me a lot. they were all quite the same. one thing that i loved about the book wad the ending. it was probably the only part of the book that made my face change expressions. i was surprised to say the least and i thought that it was quite clever how it was done. finding out that Hudson was Jay. OMG. that was the most surprising thing ever. him saying that his girlfriend loves shoes. omg. o thought that that was very very well done. i was impressed. i thought that it was a great ending to the book and i enjoyed it. there were some parts of the book that were confusing but if you're paying attention to the story, you can understand what is going on. an okay book that if you like mystery books than it might be a book you could add to your tbr.
