Putting Out for a Hero
by C. Rochelle
Great plot continuation, Zion was not my fave
Balty was what I thought Butch was going to be. He was lovable, guileless, and tender hearted. Zion was good for the first part of the book, but he was too manipulative for Balty imo. I enjoyed the ND rep for the most part, although I would have given a LOT to have him get a diagnosis. Daisy was perfect. She gave Zion a soft side that he desperately needed and although she was intelligent, she still made childish decisions.
The plot thickens and I’m looking forward to the next book!
Spice: 5/5
Triggers: explosion, torture (off page), blood play, abusive parents (off page), manipulation of ND character, ostracizing of child by adults, grief, cancer (off page)
