I picked this up after loving Maybe You Should Talk to Someone, but this was a let down.

A middle score is perfect. The parts with interviews from experts (rabbis, match makers, behavioral economists, etc.) are fascinating, and I learned from them. The commentary was disappointing. It was released in 2010, and you can tell. She does things like rate people on a scale of 1-10 and misuses feminist ideas. I’m all for being realistic and not living on cloud nine, but this book made even me feel bummed out. And stressed. I don’t see myself recommending this anyone.

It reminded me of The Defining Decade. But just the romantic relationships section.
