I am so glad I requested this manga from my library! The moment I heard about a manga with a transgender main character, I just knew I had to read it! It turned out to be an excellent choice.

Although my rating is lower than might be expected, it's only because first volumes can be a hit or miss for me. Overall, I thought this was a solid start for a manga series. I am definitely planning on continuing the series because of its focus on characters not only figuring out their passions, but also being brave enough to pursue them without shame. The story seems to be about living authentically and proudly, and I'm all for that.

One of my favorite parts of this manga was definitely the developing friendship between Ryo and Jin. When Ryo came out and Jin NOT ONCE misgendered Ryo after that? That shit was worthy of weeping. We love to see it. I really want more of their wholesome friendship. In general, though, I'm definitely looking forward to how Ryo, Jin, and Itsuka develop as friends!

I also seriously want Ryo and Chika to be the endgame relationship! It would bring me so much joy and happiness if that happened.

All in all, I'm already desperate to have more of this story. I want to see where all these boys go and how they succeed together.
