Shout out to Emily Henry for putting pen to paper (fingers to keyboard?) in such a raw yet impactful way … once again.
At surface level this was a pretty simple story about a second chance romance in a friend group. But the insight it has about growing up, grieving those you’ve lost & letting go of the way things used to be, is really what makes this book shine.
It’s also about so many different types of relationships & how they develop over time can be hard to adjust to.
It was cathartic, thought provoking, and honestly, encouraging.
