Lucy Foley…your book was like a turkey sandwich, a classic format in desperate need of more interesting elements.

Excellent scenic descriptions but every other line was like “I was filled with rage…almost enough to kill” or “his eyes flashed a homicidal blue” and I just found that really funny. I disliked most of the characters aside from  Hannah and felt like the flashback structure dragged on a bit. I think the book could have benefited from some more spaced out reveals rather than one big final few chapters. Also, what’s going on with modern thrillers and their love for pedophilic men? Johnno, Will, Charlie, and the entire groomsmen - you will be serving time.
