“There is an inn, a merry old inn
beneath an old grey hill,
And there they brew a beer so brown
That the Man in the Moon himself came down
one night to drink his fill.”

Published in 1962, The Adventures of Tom Bombadil, is a collection of poetry, that contains 16 poems, two of which feature Tom Bombadil - the funny and peculiar character that we can find in The Lord of the Rings - and the rest are an assortment of bestiary verse and fairy tale rhyme.

I really liked this book! Its peculiar, like Tom, but the verses can be quite beautiful in their own way. This is something that I really recommend reading after reading The Lord of the Rings, since some poems are featured in the trilogy!
