Fascinating at times and boring at others. Louie’s story is terrifying. For me there’s a lot too much of the military information, but perhaps that’s because my dad was a WW2 Navy veteran and my mom served in the women’s auxiliary of the Coast Guard. I grew up learning about the war. 
I would caution readers there are some really violent incidents in the book.
