This is such a fun, quick read. I feel like I enjoyed this book a lot, but my teenage self would have enjoyed it so much more!! Even though some things can be predictable, it has plot twists as well and the enemies to lovers trope is included in the story which makes it even better.
I don’t understand the bad reviews. This is not New Adult. This is not meant to be like ACOTAR. If you’re looking for a sexy romance and a complex war plot, this ain’t it. But because in my opinion, it’s not meant to be that way.
I would definitely read this if you’re going through a reading slump and need an easy yet not so intense fantasy book!
Definitely recommend for teenagers and those who don’t like so many sexual scenes :)
