I found this book frustrating to read. So frustrating in fact, that I DNF’d it once and almost DNF’d it multiple times during my current read of it.
The two main characters clearly liked each other the entire time—it’s painfully obvious to true reader but then the book goes out of its way to have their friends constantly comment on it. There were even multiple scenes where Adam literally told Olive he loved her but still neither character believed the other one was interested in a real relationship. It. Was. So. Frustrating.
I like a trope-tastic popcorn book as much as the next person, but their shared stupidity completely ruined my suspension of disbelief.
