First off, just to be clear: I am not a huge fan of Maisey Yates. I don't think she is a terrible writer or anything, it's just that her writing doesn't reel me and have me hang onto every word. Granted, I have only read the Copper Ridge Series but in all honesty, I found myself sometimes skipping pages and parts of the previous book with the exception of Part Time Cowboy (book 1) because I was bored and uninterested.

So, you could see why going into Tough Luck Hero, I wasn't exactly excited....but I ended up being so wrong! In my opinion, this book is definitely the best in the series. Hands down.

Lydia and Colton are literally a match made in heaven. And what makes them a match made in heaven is that they seem to be the exact opposite. They clash, they fight, they annoy each other. But there's this passion between them. This heat...they no longer seem to be able to ignore. Or should I say, can't?
