Fox by DJ Krimmer is book 1 in the Hel’s Ink series and it was so good. If you love books about swoony hero’s, age gap, and enemies to lovers then you will love this book.

Janie grew up at Hel’s Ink the tattoo shop her father Tony owned. Instead of following in her father’s footsteps she becomes a popular social media influencer.  Fox has worked at Hel’s Ink for more than two decades. He not only works for Tony but he is his mentor and friend.

Tony unexpectedly dies and leaves the shop to Janie who doesn’t want it. She is ready to sign it all over to Fox when she overhears a conversation that wasn’t meant for her.  She then decides to show them that’s she not just a girl who is on social media and decides not to sign the shop over.

My heart hurt reading what Fox experienced in his life and why he never wanted to be in a relationship. It was sad to read how Janie never felt good enough not knowing how proud her dad really was of her. Fox and Janie’s attraction to each other was so strong but both were keeping the other at arms distance. This book was so good!! I can’t wait to read the rest of the books in the series. I was given an ARC in exchange for my honest thoughts and opinions.
