The Mysterious Affair at Styles by Agatha Christie

3.0

Mrs Inglethorpe dies in what seems clearly a case of poisoning. But her younger husband, who stands to inherit everything, has an alibi, and no one else has much of a motive. Poirot’s first case. The plotting is occasionally a bit clumsy, but the bones of what would become classic Poirot are all there.
