Does this book have my least favorite trope in it? Yes. Do I care? Nope. It actually went with the story, which is such a breath of fresh air with this trope. Sometimes it's just thrown in there for no reason, and I can't stand that. But even if this trope hadn't went with the story, I think I would have still loved this book.
Cade is everything. And then pair him with Luke? Oh my heart. I love Willa for them. The fact she gave Cade options at the end? That man deserves all of the options. But then also the way he showed her that he was choosing her? It was beyond sweet. I loved how they each respected each other throughout the whole "crisis." BUT Cade was not a sweetie the whole time. We don't expect that anyways. He's known as being the grump, but Willa slowly breaks him down. The way she does it, beyond loving Luke, cracks me up. I loved her antics.
As for the smut...THE HOT TUB SCENE. Whew. 🥵 You just need to read this book for so many reasons. Like these bonus scenes with Harvey! I love Harvey. I really hope we get more of his story beyond extra chapters at the end of the books. But if that's all we get, I'd gladly take them!
I thought I loved Flawless, but Heartless is me new favorite. It's going to be hard to top this one, but I'll try to give the rest of the books a fair chance.
