i LOVED this. i wasn’t sure i would cause Solitaire was iffy for me (still good, but not my fav) but it was so so good.

i really love the narration style of Frances. like she’s telling a story that already happened, but she also doesn’t know what’s going on a lot of the time.
and then Aled? absolutely amazing. his story was so sad and painful at times, but the ending was so beautiful. it was a perfect way to wrap up his story and give his character a sense of hope.
also Frances’s mom was amazing. one of the best book moms i’ve ever seen, i love her.
every character in this book was beautiful (except that one character, you know who she is) and i love them all.

there were times while reading this that i was genuinely stressed for the characters, but it was so worth and it could not put it down. i think this is my favorite of Oseman’s novels (i haven’t gotten to read Born For This yet). Heartstopper is still the best though <3
