Pivot Point by Kasie West
4.0

Cover: 2/5 (It's okay)

Story: 4/5 (I really like it)

I love Kasie West's books, but I kept putting off reading this one because I figured it wouldn't be as good as her contemporary romances. I was wrong. I really enjoyed the Sliding Doors concept and it wasn't as hard to follow as I thought it would be.

I like the main characters.
I will admit I totally did not see that coming with Duke at the end! I just kept thinking he was a good guy. Wow.
The creepy characters were creepy. Laila was fun. I liked Trevor and his friends. And his mom and brother. I actually do what the mom in this book does... getting to know her kids' friends. I had to read that part to my teenage son because it was just like me. Luckily my son isn't embarrassed by me doing it though.

Anyway, the plot was interesting. Enough to keep me turning the pages. I was concerned about the flipping of the scenarios each chapter but it wasn't as disconnecting as I thought it would be. I will be reading the second book in the series next.

Reread? Yep.
