The Yellow Wallpaper by Charlotte Perkins Gilman

5.0

There's not much to say about this, other than it's rightfully a classic, a perfectly executed slow dive into psychological horror, crammed in its few pages with themes of mental health, and patriarchal control. Gilman's writing is clean, focused, alive, and showcases a beautiful depth in its exploration of the titular wallpaper. It's rightfully taught in classrooms - No reason not to read it.
