The idea of a girl making a deal with a god and having to live out her life dealing with the consequences sounded interesting, but the execution wasn’t great. I found certain scenes to be too repetitive throughout the plot. Addie’s relationship with Luke was frustrating, it felt like she never learned from their interactions which made reading later scenes with them even more difficult to get through. It was too long. I liked the first 70% of the book but then it just kept repeating itself and I was over it by the end.
