The Dire King by William Ritter

4.0

In the heart of hate is nothing dear.
The spear grips the hand that grips the spear.
Tempee the armor, steady the shield.
The weapon to fear is the one you weild,
for a Kingdom of Blood is a desolate thing,
a dire crown for a dire king.

Such a great ending to this series! I'm going to miss romping around New Fiddleham with Jackaby and Abigail. They have such a wonderful friendship and I hope to see more like theirs in other books!

My only complaint is that I wish some of the characters introduced in this book were first introduced in a previous one to make some of the reveals more surprising.
