Austin understands and portrays mental health issues has unlike any other author. While the topic is dark, she uses humor, nostalgia, and a hint of hope to bring the reader through the darkness. She is also a master in storytelling. This book has a unique format that I enjoyed.
Graphic: Mental illness and Suicidal thoughts
Moderate: Homophobia
Minor: Rape and Sexual assault
