Confessions of a Shopaholic
by Sophie Kinsella
The longer the book went on the less and less I liked it. Becky Bloomwood made me laugh a lot but the majority of her inner dialogue disgusted me primarily. When she compared eating out for the first time one ONE WEEK to a child being able to eat regular food again after a country has stopped rationing food during war! UGH, It just seems a little too far fetched that someone would go to these lengths to keep their debt a secret. She lied when there was no need to and probably made her self look even more guilty. I do not know how so many characters were so convinced by her act. I didn't hate the book it was a nice easy read and like I said I laughed a lot but I the majority of the time I did not like Rebecca Bloomwood.
Hint: If you loved the movie and you are hoping the plot goes exactly the same it doesn't! Not even close!
