More Than I Could by Adriana Locke
4.0

Megan is doing her mom a solid by agreeing to take over babysitting her mom's best friend's unruly teen granddaughter. It's not like she has a job or a life direction since she got laid off from what she thought was her dream job. But the small town of Peachwood Falls has more in store for her than she expected.

Her rental car breaks down and she accepts help from her grumpy and reluctant savior only to find out he's Chase, the very hot and very single dad of her new charge. They both agree that his daughter, Kennedy comes first but it doesn't take long for them to throw caution to the wind especially with all the hours they spend together alone in his house. But Megan is only here for the month until his mom comes back. Will she find what she's always been looking for, a true home, or will she stick to her original plan?

I love sunshine x grumpy, single dad and forced proximity, so I knew this one was going to be a good read. What I didn't expect was how much I would enjoy the relationship between Megan and Kennedy. I loved that Kennedy didn't look at Megan as an invader into her family unit and I loved how Megan gave Kennedy exactly what she needed when her dad couldn't see it. I want to specifically call out the scene with them in the principal's office because that was such a powerful and important moment. Kennedy needed to see that someone believed her and was in her corner. I loved the role she played in Chase's grovel too.

This is fantastic start to a new family series. Adriana has this gift for making us fall for these big families and giving our heroines the found family they never knew they needed. I can't wait to see more of Chase's brothers and see who will be my fave.

Thanks so much to Adriana for providing me with an early copy to review.
