Fear: Trump in the White House by Bob Woodward

3.0

Didn't actually finish this, because I had to return it to the library. But, I read enough of it to form an opinion.

To cut to the chase, nothing here surprised me too much. If you read, watched or listened to the news in the days before this book's release, you already know the big revelations. On the practical side, I know Bob Woodward is accomplished and admired as a journalist, but I don't find him to be a particularly good writer. I found his prose to be awkward and confusing at times, his phrasing and choice of words seemed a little "off" to me in parts. I continued reading because the subject matter interested me, but didn't enjoy the book as much as I could have because I just couldn't get past Woodward's style.
